Maintenance & operations
Building a site is the first step. Keeping it running is the job.
I host and maintain 68 websites and web apps for clients ranging from a law office and a private clinic to a national sports federation and a university faculty. When a form stops sending, a certificate expires or a plugin update breaks a page, I am the person who fixes it.

3stacks: WordPress, static HTML/JS, Node.js
2020oldest site I still maintain
What I take care of
- Domains & DNS – registration, renewals, records, moving sites without breaking e-mail
- E-mail – mailboxes, forwarding, SPF/DKIM so contact forms don't land in spam
- SSL / HTTPS on every site
- Backups and a tested way to roll back
- WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, user roles
- Deployments of static sites and Node.js apps, staging before production
- Performance – image optimisation, caching, mobile speed
- SEO basics – titles, descriptions, sitemaps, indexing settings
- Client support – content changes, problem reports, short how-to guides
How I work
- Every new site starts on a staging domain that search engines don't index, and goes live only after it has been tested on real phones
- Before changing DNS I write down existing e-mail and services, so nothing silently stops
- After every launch I repeat the key tests on production: forms, redirects, analytics, HTTPS
- I use AI tools and the hosting provider's API to automate routine checks and deployments – and review every change before it goes live
- I keep a written checklist for each project, from the first client meeting to handover
